My dog was still able to get to her arm where she had her stitches, has to keep an eye on her at all times and remind her not to mess with it. After a while it helped her not think about the itchiness of healing. She looked like she was comfortable in it.My great dane had a hotspot on her from arm. I had purchased another brand of sleeve but that was just like tshirt material so the material just soaked her hot spot when she licked her arm. This sleeve is more like wetsuit material so it was great at keep ling everything dry. It was pretty tight and the sleeve was a little short on my big dog but definitely did its job! Definitely recommend!Great idea. The problem is my dog chewed it off the first day. I have an English Mastiff. It fit her perfect, but didn’t make it one whole day. Needs to be stronger material. Actually would have to be very strong to stop most dogs from chewing through.Wish the sleeve wouldn't been a better material but it's one more paw blocker for my pup to try and get through. Bought these because the cone didn't work out. Would recommend.Make sure you wash it before you use it. It turned my dog blue. Also sizing is important. I have an 80 lb dog, I think I bought extra large because of the measurements but it's too big.My dog had a hotspot on his leg he wasn't leaving alone and so he had to wear the cone of shame. This product eliminates the need for a cone. I sized up because based on directions if on the border between sizes to get the larger size and absolutely wish I had gotten the smaller size but I kept because I didn't want to wait on replacement as that would mean more cone time.I have a Labrador retriever who licks her front arms until they are completely raw. I couldn’t ever keep wraps on her because she would chew them off. I got this as a last stitched effort and it WORKED! Her arms are healed and for now she is naked until she starts licking again. 100% would recommend!This worked great for our rotti/dashund. She did get it off a few times but that's because her head is smaller than her neck
