When my golden was a few months old, he got a skin infection from a shampoo that we used. Our vet recommended an oatmeal shampoo and we found this one and it's the only one we've used since. It doesn't have a strong smell but it keeps our smelly dog from stinking up the whole house. He is super soft after we use it too and that lasts for a while. We wash him weekly/every 2 weeks and we haven't had any more problems with infection. We knew we wouldn't be switching any time soon and this was a great deal when we bought it. I'm really happy with how this product makes our dog feel.I have an English Lab with some sensitive skin. With the skin issues, he does shed a decent amount because of these issues. I have been using furminator shampoo and conditioner for a few years now and wanted to try something else. I give him a bath around once a month. The scent is almost non existent. Very neutral. Doesn’t smell amazing and doesn’t smell bad by any means. It does nothing to combat the wet dog smell. The shampoo I can tell is making my dog feel better. I’ve tried and do everything I can for him, but this shampoo seemed to give him some relief to the scratchy skin. He HATES his baths but pranced around the house after this. The softness in his coat has been a welcomed surprise. It is also allowing him to release his undercoat easier. His brushing after the bath was nice and picked up a lot more than it normally does, and his brushing after he was completely dry was surprising. All in all seems to be pretty nice for my dog. I just wish it did more with the scent. My chihuahua terrier mix likes to roll in nastiness in the fog park. For awhile I tried cleaning her with scented wipes and they were effective but this . . . ! A quick wash with this shampoo in the sink and the “Little Stinker” is fresh and ready to rejoin is on the furniture. Smells nice with no skin irritation. Highly recommend!I actually brought this product to the groomers. It did a great job! She was so nice and clean looking and her coat so soft. Would buy again. My dog has very sensitive skin and he is always itchy! Gave him a bath with this and his coat gets so soft and hes not scratching or irritated with his skin!I had to use a lot of this shampoo to work up a lather on my 45 pound hound. There wasn't a noticeable scent which was a good thing. Also, the bottle had a hole in it when I received it. Since not a lot of shampoo actually leaked from the bottle, I did not return it. It was only wrapped in a thin plastic bag inside the box when it was shipped and I think it needs to be wrapped in bubble wrap or something sturdier than a thin plastic bag.My pit has dry skin and this is the only shampoo that not only doesn’t give him dandruff but takes away itLoved it but it came explodedDoesn’t lather well, have to use a lot of product. Won’t be repurchasing. Asi lo hacemos nosotros).WARNING - make sure you choose the correct size. I paid $10 for 4 oz, which is a RIP OFF. Obviously my own fault, but who in their right mind sells 4 oz for $10, when I could have purchased 16oz for $9? Since all stores are closed (due to COVID 19) I figured I'd buy some shampoo for my dog.DO NOT BUY UNLESS you select the right bottle size. This is a tiny sample of shampoo. You can buy the product 5 time in size for same priceBurt's Bees for Dogs FFP4776AMZ2 Burt's Bees Dog Conditioner https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B07DT6Z3F3/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_i_S5QHJCHNSR39SF2JW6S5?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1Silly me not paying attention to the description, but having seen most dog shampoos in the $10-$20 range in a regular sized shampoo bottle, I thought this one was just a great deal. It’s actually travel sized. It seems to be a bit less sudsy than other dog shampoos I’ve tried, and it also has a very very mild scent (maybe a plus for some, but I like my dog to actually smell like he had a bath!). Do not buy the small bottle. Too small!
